Welcome to www.inspiringthefuture.govt.nz , a website hosted and operated by the Tertiary Education Commission (‘we’, ‘our’, TEC’). When we use the terms you and your, we are referring to any organisation or person who accesses the website. 

These terms apply to the entire contents of the site and to any feedback provided through the site. By viewing and using the site, you will be deemed to agree to these terms of use and our Privacy Statement. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should stop accessing this site.

This website is designed to inform you about the Inspiring the Future New Zealand programme and to encourage schools, role models and organisations to participate in this programme.

Although we use reasonable endeavours to ensure all material on our website is reliable and accurate at the time of publishing, we cannot accept any liability for its accuracy or content. Use of our website is at your own risk.

TEC disclaims and excludes all liability for any claim, loss, demand or damages of any kind whatsoever (including for negligence) arising out of or in connection with the use of either this website or the information, content or materials included on this site or on any website we link to.

This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. TEC makes no guarantees, warranties or representations, express or implied, as to continuity of service. It reserves the right to suspend, terminate or otherwise alter access to some or all of the site’s services at any time and without notice.

This website contains information and tools that you can browse and access without providing any personal details. Where you voluntarily provide personal details (eg, through the online contact form) we use that information in accordance with our Privacy Statement (available here).

You have the right under the Privacy Act 1993 to access and/or request correction of your personal information. If you want to access and/or request correction of your personal information held by TEC, please email InspiringtheFuture@tec.govt.nz.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us for any loss or costs we incur due to your breaching these terms of use. This clause does not apply to State Services agencies and their staff.

You are welcome to download, print, distribute, or share a link to, this website and the guides and other resources we provide on this website, for the purpose of informing potential school/role model participants (and their organisations and families, whānau and ‘aiga) about the Inspiring the Future New Zealand programme, and/or for the purpose of taking part in the programme. However, you must not otherwise copy, create derivative works from, reproduce, republish or distribute any part of the website, its content, or its underlying code, without prior written consent from TEC.

We may provide links to other websites when we think those links may be useful. We do not necessarily endorse those websites or their content, and we have no control over the conduct of the companies or organisations operating those websites. Responsibility for the content and privacy practices of other websites rests solely with the owners of those sites.
