Inspiring the Future Online Career Chat events involve participants meeting role models online and trying to guess their jobs, followed by a presentation and Q&A with each.
These short events are quick to organise and you have access to all role models across New Zealand. They’re ideal for small or rural schools, and work well with smaller groups of students. You can easily run them within a single class period, making them a practical option for subject teachers to integrate into existing lessons.
Below is everything you need to run a Online Career Chat event. Read the step-by-step guide to find out how and when to use each resource.
These resources are available in English only.
If you’d like printed resources sent to you, email us at inspiringthefuture@tec.govt.nz.
